A woman confessed to killing her husband — for beating the family cat, police say

Mary Harrison canvassed the neighborhood in northeast Dallas, looking for her lost cat.

She put up signs pleading for her pet’s return, and neighbors say the cat eventually returned to the family, local media reported.

But the cat is at the center of more turmoil in the family, police said.
